Hiring Process for Staff, Faculty & Adjunct Faculty Positions

CCD has several categories of employment. The positions that you may apply for on this site include:

  • Administrative/Technical Positions (Staff)
  • Faculty
  • Adjunt Faculty

Classified positions will be advertised on this site, but applicants must visit the Colorado State Government Jobs site to apply for available CCD classified positions.

Applying for Available Positions

You will need to apply for each position you are interested in, as CCD does not keep resumes on file for future openings.

To be considered, a completed application packet is required for each position for which you apply. This must be received prior to or on the closing date to be considered for employment.

Please do not include any photographs in your application packet. Please do not include any information that may reveal race, religion, physical handicap, marital status or ancestry.

Application Directions

Please review the announcement carefully to ensure you meet the minimum qualifications of the position. You will not be considered for the position if the minimum qualifications are not met.

Each completed application packet must have the following components:

  1. Cover Letter
  2. CCD Application – This Is Electronic & Will Be Completed during the Application Process
  3. Current Resume
  4. References - Names, Phone Numbers, Addresses, & Email Addresses of Three Professional References
  5. Copies of Transcripts - May Be Unofficial
  6. Copies of Appropriate Credentials

The required method of delivery of supplemental documents listed above is uploading directly to your profile. If you are unable to upload to your profile, please contact 303-352-3042.

You must submit the application in its entirety to be considered for any position. You will not be able to save your application and continue at a later time.

After a Position Has Closed

Application packets will be screened for minimum qualifications after the position has closed.

Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will be forwarded to a committee or directly to the supervisor based on the number of applicants. Candidates who are selected for an interview will be contacted by phone. Applicants not selected for an interview will be notified via email.
